- Light Pattern Issues: The design of LED bulbs, which typically have LEDs on only two sides, can result in an uneven light pattern. HID xenon bulbs emit light at 360 degrees, for which the projector is designed, leading to better light distribution and a clear hot-spot.
- ECE Approval: D1S LED bulbs do not have ECE approval for use on public roads, which can be a legal concern in many regions.
Given these factors, we generally recommend using HID xenon bulbs for optimal performance in HID xenon projector headlights unless you have a specific preference for LED technology.
