Upgrade the rear turn signals on your Yamaha YZF-R1 (2015–2024) with the Aharon MotoLumino V2 sequential LED indicator Kit 3. This model-specific rear-only package includes two compact smoked-lens indicators that produce a bright progressive amber sweep. The YZF-R1 performance superbike receives the discreet smoked-lens MotoLumino V2 indicators at the rear only. Watch the MotoLumino V2 video demonstration.
REAR ONLY — 2 LED INDICATORS: This kit does not include front indicators or front running-light adapters. It is not a four-indicator complete front-and-rear kit.
Why choose MotoLumino V2 sequential LED indicators?
- Progressive amber turn indication: sequential LED lighting with clear visibility.
- Subtle smoked lenses: dark compact styling when the indicators are switched off.
- Flexible mounting stems: durable indicator housing designed for everyday motorcycle use.
- Model-matched Yamaha connectors: two MLAC11 rear indicator adapter cables.
- Mounting hardware supplied: two MLAP05 adapter plates for rear indicator positions.
Compatibility — Yamaha YZF-R1 (2015–2024)
| Motorcycle | Years | Kit coverage |
|---|---|---|
| Yamaha YZF-R1 | 2015–2024 | Rear turn signals only (2 pieces) |
Fitment notes: Applies to model generations recorded as 2015–2016, 2017–2019 and 2020–2024 in our Yamaha OEM fitment database. Earlier models have different parts. For older YZF-R1 generations choose the corresponding complete four-indicator kit rather than using these rear adapter parts. Intended for original-equipment rear indicator connectors and mountings; inspect modified or imported motorcycles before ordering.
What is included in Yamaha MotoLumino V2 Kit 3?
- 2 × Aharon MotoLumino V2 sequential amber LED turn signal units for the rear.
- 2 × MLAC11 Yamaha plug-in rear indicator wiring adapters.
- 2 × MLAP05 Yamaha indicator mounting adapter plates.
- 2 × cable ties to secure the wiring after fitting.
No LED relay is supplied or required for this Kit 3 configuration. The original flasher system is retained. Do not confuse Kit 3 with Yamaha Kit 1 (relay and MLAC12) or Kit 2 (four indicators and four MLAC11 leads).
Installation and appearance
Remove the original rear indicators, mount the two supplied MotoLumino V2 units using the MLAP05 adapter plates and connect through the MLAC11 harness adapters where the original rear plugs match. Secure the wiring with the supplied cable ties and verify correct signal operation, clearance and legal placement before riding. The photo gallery shows the rear-only package with the LED lenses both illuminated and switched off.
Measured indicator brightness
