The Nissan Skyline R33 was built from 1993 to 1998 and is best known in its GT-R form, with the twin-turbo RB26DETT straight-six and ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive. Larger and more refined than the R32 it replaced, it remains one of the most sought-after Japanese performance cars. The lighting technology used in this car is however around 30 years old today.

The factory-fitted halogen headlights use a reflector with an H1 bulb for the low beam. They produce an average light beam even when new, and in many cases the light output has been further compromised as bulb heat and general ageing cause the reflective layer to peel off.

Needless to say, buying new or used original headlights for your Nissan Skyline R33 is not recommended. But there is fortunately no need for that: there are upgrade kits that fit inside your existing headlights. Because the original H1 bulb hole is smaller than the projector's threaded shaft, the hole is enlarged during installation, after which the projector mounts in the original housing.

These complete retrofit kits not only provide you with superior brightness and durability; since all components are brand new, they also come with a 2-year warranty.

If your Nissan Skyline R33 has halogen headlights, you can upgrade them to bi-xenon or to Bi-LED. No matter which retrofit upgrade kit you pick, you will improve the light output considerably, making for safer and more enjoyable driving. And, of course, your Nissan Skyline R33 will look awesome with a bright, crisp beam.
