Despite the high quality of our products, it can occur that you receive a product that is not perfect. If that happens we'd like to provide you with a suitable solution as quickly as possible.
We are convinced of the quality of the products we offer. Therefore we always give 2 years guarantee on all your purchases.
14 DAY MONEY-BACK PERIOD
Retrofitlab.com operates a 14 day approval and inspection period for all online orders. This period starts when you have received the product. Within this period you can cancel and return your order, for any reason and without a justification. The return itself does not need to be delivered back to us within these 14 days. After 14 days the purchase agreement becomes final.
During this period you should handle the product and packaging carefully, if reasonably possible. Try the product out to the extent necessary in order to decide whether you wish to keep it. The product can be viewed and reviewed, as you would do in a shop.Â
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, undamaged and in its original packaging. When you inspect the product please wear gloves to prevent damage to the product (chrome layer) / prevent fingerprints etc.
When there is damage to the product or its packaging, this will be deducted from the return.
When the product is used in the 14 day period and returned, the costs for use, such as cleaning and/or repair costs, will be deducted from the return.
When you return a product within the 14 day money-back period, we are obliged to pay you the purchase price, including shipping and any debit or administration costs, back within 14 days from receiving your return. The return shipment costs are not refunded.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
RETURNS PROCEDURE
There are a number of reasons you may decide to return (a part of) your order. Read this information through carefully to avoid any misunderstandings and delays. If you wish to return a product, the method of shipment and the condition of the product must comply with our stated terms and conditions.

Depending on the situation (country/products etc.) we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package.
Please always include a piece of paper with your order number and address details. Sometimes we receive returns without this information and with the original shipping label removed. This way we simply don’t know who has returned the shipment and we can’t make a refund.
Return Shipment and Costs
The postal costs must always be paid for a return shipment or the label we provided must be used. Packages not correctly prepaid or marked as returned subject to payment on delivery will not be accepted by us. Retrofitlab.com reimburses the postal costs or provides a pre-paid label after returning in case the return is a result of an mistake by Retrofitlab.com or when there is a defective product.
If you are entitled to a refund of the shipping costs, we do apply a maximum fee.
The maximum fee for a return shipment is € 8,- within the Netherlands, € 10,- for Belgium and Germany, € 30,- for the rest of Europe and € 35,- for the rest of the world. In case the cheapest shipping option you can use is still more expensive, please contact us.

Because we sell worldwide and there are some difference between returns in the EU and the rest of the world, please see the details for returning here;
Returns from outside the EU must always be marked as returned goods. When this is not done, taxes/custom charges for the return will be deducted and not be refunded.

Excluded From Return
All the custom work, such as our retrofit service, and the products used for retrofit service, are not eligible for return. All products purchased in our outlet are excluded from return. After using Butyl, it is no longer possible to return this product.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for the bank or credit card company to process the refund.
