At the time of its launch in 2001, the Fiat Stilo was only the second car in the world to employ TRW Column-Drive Electric Power-Assisted Steering (EPS), and the optional push-button start joined Fiat with the likes of Mercedes and BMW in progressive automobile innovation. The halogen version features a small reflector that producing an average to poor light beam even when new. In many cases, its light output has been further compromised as bulb heat and general ageing cause the reflective layer to peel off.
The single-xenon setup features a a small reflector, designed in the late 90s. These reflectors are known to lose their reflective layer right to the point where they become black inside, causing dangerously low light output.
