An exciting streetfighter, the Yamaha XJ6 is as capable as it’s fun to ride. It’s nimble, with excellent handling characteristics in city traffic, and power delivery is smooth and, well, really quite powerful. But the lighting technology used in these bikes is more than 15 years old today.
The factory-fitted setup is a double halogen headlight with reflector manufactured by Koito. Not only does this make for a very poor light output; with one headlight for low and the other for high beam, the bike also takes on a black-eyed appearance.

Yamaha XJ6 Diversion / Naked 2009–2018 MotoLumino V2 LED turn signal kit
Besides our established bi-xenon and Bi-LED headlight retrofit kits, this collection now includes the complete MotoLumino V2 sequential LED turn signal kit for Yamaha XJ6 Diversion and naked motorcycles from 2009–2018. The kit replaces the four original front and rear indicators with compact smoked-lens lamps and progressive amber signals.
For these XJ6 model years, the current Yamaha fitment database specifies 4 × MLAP05 mounting plates and one MLRLU1 LED flasher relay, with four MotoLumino V2 indicators and four cable ties. Original indicator wiring uses bullet connectors; no additional plug-in adapter cables are included. Check factory connectors and any previous modifications before installation.
