The Yamaha Tracer 900 (2018–2020) is the updated second generation of Yamaha’s three-cylinder sport-tourer, building on the success of the original MT-09 Tracer. Yamaha refined the model for 2018 with redesigned bodywork, improved touring ergonomics and greater wind protection, while retaining the responsive 847cc CP3 three-cylinder engine and agile handling that made the Tracer popular with commuters and touring riders alike.
The revised Tracer 900 has a more refined front fairing, a larger windscreen that can be adjusted with one hand, narrower handlebars and reshaped rider and passenger seats. Updated passenger footrests and a longer swingarm contribute to its more touring-focused character. The lightweight aluminium chassis, 18-litre fuel tank, ABS and traction control make it a practical choice for daily rides, winding mountain roads and longer journeys.
Yamaha also offered a higher-specification Tracer 900 GT alongside the standard model, with touring equipment such as cruise control, heated grips and additional suspension adjustment in certain markets. As specifications and original indicator hardware can vary, check the exact connectors and mounting points on GT versions before ordering a kit listed for the standard Tracer 900.
